Tornado is a splendor of very dark chocolate with flaxen mane and tail. In true mountain horse style he is an easy keeper, loves attention and is an incredible ride - very surefooted with a smooth, ground covering gait. He perform the classic, old-style Rocky Mountain Horse gait naturally.

Kentucky Tornado has been color DNA tested by the University of Kentucky and he is homozygous for black (EE) - red gene negative. Our breeding program focuses on sound, good minded and well-gaited trail horses. Color is always the added fun part that heightens the anticipation of each year's foal crop.
